Stuart Thomson
Stuart is our numbers man. He came to us as Financial Controller and now handles all matters of a commercial nature.
He may have thought when he came here that his main role was to keep an eye on the purse strings and to put the accounts together. However, what he now realises is that those seemingly insignificant words “and other ad hoc duties” on his job description, stretch an awfully long way!
He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained with what is now Price Waterhouse, and came to us via stays with General Electric, Highland Distillers and Dalgety.
His hobbies range from golf and tennis to canoeing, hill walking and cycling.
He has a partiality for good Alsatian wine, and is renown for disliking heat – a factor that make winter meetings in his office very short indeed!
