McPherson Ltd is based in Aberlour, we have a fleet of over 150 vehicles and 500 trailers. We provide specialised haulage for the Whisky Industry and we are looking to enhance our dedicated Traffic Planning Team.
Assistant Traffic Planner - Aberlour
The successful candidate will ideally have some experience or understanding of the Logistics industry and ideally of planning. The post requires demonstrable experience of strong organisational skills for planning journeys and loads, excellent spoken and written communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Trainee Traffic Assistant - Aberlour
This trainee post is a combination of on the job training and formal study. The successful candidate will receive training across the business, finally developing into a Traffic role. We are looking for someone who is keen to develop a new career and grow within a local successful family business.
Essential attributes are a natural ambition to develop, forward thinking a passion about our customers. Although no formal experience is required, candidates will be required to demonstrate organisational skills, teamwork, communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Both posts require the candidate to be flexible and adaptive, also to have good IT skills, a driving licence is preferable. Excellent salary and reward package available for the right candidates.

HGV Mechanics/Fitters - Aberlour
We are currently looking for experienced HGV Mechanics & Trailer (although training will be given, ideally to someone with mechanical interest or background). Fitters to maintain our premier fleet in Aberlour to MOT standard or above. You must be flexible and have the ability to work using your own initiative. Excellent rate of pay for the right candidate. HGV licence preferred but training could be given.
