Digital Tachograph Training

McPherson Training is a provider of training for Digital Tachographs, which are a mandatory fit in new vehicles since May 2006.
 
All drivers, company managers, controlling authorities and workshops - will have to learn how to operate the new equipment. Please note that training on one type of manufacturers equipment will not guarantee competence on another – and there are 3 manufacturers currently accredited.  Drivers also require to be familiar with EU regulations.
 
The penalties for failure to comply with tachograph legislation are fines up to £2,500 for failure to comply with rules on fitting and using tachographs.  £5,000 plus imprisonment for up to 2 years for deliberate falsification and up to £5,000 for failing to keep or produce records as required by the legislation.
 
McPherson Training has developed training packages specific to all equipment types and operator skill levels, be it driver, manager or fitter.
 
Courses can be carried out at locations and times to suite the client.  Dedicated client training may be structured for the individual or conducted in small groups.
