SAFED - Fuel Efficient Defensive Driving Course

Our Fuel Efficient Defensive Driving Course is designed to improve all three situations. The course increases professionalism and driver skill levels and benefits both the driver and employer. The aims of the course are to:

• Reduce fuel spend (typically improvements of 5% or more are identified during training). This often means that the course can pay for itself in a very short time.
• Reduced stress levels in drivers.
• Increased confidence in vehicle control and driving performance.
• Better hazard perception and reduced accident risk.
• Potential reductions in insurance claims and administration.
• Reduced running costs (particularly relating to maintenance and tyres).

This is a one-day course, which assesses the driver’s current performance. Bad habits are then corrected while we impart the techniques required to achieve the course objectives. A further assessment is then carried out where the trainee has to demonstrate he has met the course objectives. Where required employers can be issued with a written report on the trainee’s performance.
